Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her career as an actor in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she portrayed the role of reporter Willa McPherson on FX's series Dirt. She also played an appearance in FX's short-lived show The Ex List. In the premiere season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara, a young Moira and in the following season, she played Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She also voices of various characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. Since her appearance in 2019, she's appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe as a character in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was a resident of Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10, when she and her mother relocated to California. moved around for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was first interested in singing, acting and photography around the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother at the age of 15 to pursue an acting career.
